In 2009 I took a series of letterpress printing workshops at the San Francisco Center for the Book. The greeting cards I used to make by hand never looked as good as what came off the press, so I rather impulsively purchased a platen tabletop letterpress and spent a good while buying parts and supplies. Thus this blog began, to document my (slow) progress, strides, pitfalls, detours, and wanderings.
